I am fascinated by colours and I love to spread joy with colours, art and creativity!

I paint to heal myself and others with happy colours and symbols AND to arouse the curiosity in people to provoke them to open their minds to new aspects of life.

As I also enjoy helping people finding their joy and creativity I conduct a number of transformational workshops including “Let Loose Your Inner Child with Painting”, “Intuitive Painting. How to Paint Your Emotions” and “Playshop for Adults”.

I use colours extensively in my abstract paintings where I depict the energies and emotions of life in motives that play with the audience’ imagination and communicates with the subconscious mind.

To me, every painting has a message, not only in colour and motive but also in the title… where all are there for the viewer to ponder in relation to his or her own life. I also use a lot of symbols in my art because I believe that they have a message too and that the subconscious mind picks up on this, even when the eye can’t see the symbols. In fact, I often embed ancient and sacred symbols in my paintings in layers invisible to the human eye.

We all have different sides in us and as I paint with my heart as opposed to choosing a subject or motive in advance, I express what I sense are messages of life just waiting to be expressed in a painting. To me a painting develops like a process which happens almost by itself in front of my eyes!
